Sarah Patilla Sutton-Nervis, a beloved member of her community, was born on October 21, 1952, in Pineville, Louisiana. She peacefully departed this life on September 25, 2025, in Houston, Texas.

Throughout her life, Sarah was known for her vibrant spirit and dedication to those around her. She was a cherished presence in her community and made lasting impacts through her kindness and unwavering support for her family and friends.

As we celebrate the life of Sarah, we invite all who knew her to join us for a viewing on October 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Fifth Ward Missionary Baptist Church, located at 4300 Noble Street, Houston, TX 77020. Following the viewing, a Celebration of Life will take place at the same location at 11:00 AM.

Sarah Patilla Sutton-Nervis leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will always be remembered by those she touched throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by her community and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
