Our beloved Mom, Pamela Rae Moore, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Pamela was born on May 25, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan to Virginia and Raymond Terrill. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who touched the lives of many during her time on earth. Our mom filled our world with light, laughter, and unconditional love for seventy-five beautiful years.
Pam had an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel special. She loved people and had this magical way of bringing joy to every room she entered. She had the most amazing smile, and eyes as bright as a Texas sunrise and she had the most infectious laugh. Whether you were family, friends, or someone she had just met, Pam made you feel like you mattered. Her warm smile and open arms were a constant source of comfort to so many. She had a profound impact on those fortunate enough to know her, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion.
Pam’ s pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. Gardening was one of her great passions and she loved walking the kids around the yard teaching them about the plants, flowers, and veggies. Any time you visit she would have homemade applesauce for us, or baked goods. If you were hungry, she made a mean grilled cheese and if the adult kids had extra time to visit, she always had a cold beer for you. She was always sending us home with something she picked up. My mom was not extravagant, but she was generous with her love, always thinking about us and making sure all our needs are met, whether physically, emotionally, financially, or whatever she thought we needed. She also loved to jazzercise up to the age of seventy-four, and one of her favorite places to visit was Utopia, Texas.
She was our protector and champion. Pam was fierce when it came to defending those she loved. She taught us by example what it meant to stand up for others and to love without limits. Her strength, compassion, and unwavering spirit shaped who we are today. “
Josh 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid nor dismayed for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Pam married her high school sweetheart, Michael Murray in 1969. They were married 25 years. She later married Dirk Moore in August of 2001. Pam leaves behind her daughter Alisa Maywald and two sons Michael Murray and his wife Patricia and Gregory Murray. Pam has eleven beautiful grandchildren: Paige Felts, Luke Campbell, Alex Murray, Payton Murray, Pamela Murray, Madilyn Murray, Avery Maywald, Colton Maywald, Kinley Maywald, Ethan Murray, and great granddaughter Celine Felts. She also leaves behind her sister Judi Larkins.
We invite you to join us to celebrate Pam's incredible life. A viewing will be held on October 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 AM at Magnolia Cowboy Church, 23247 Glenmont Estates Blvd, Magnolia, TX 77355.
Our hearts are heavy with grief, but also full of gratitude for the blessing of having her as our mom and grandma. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, joy, and fierce protection lives on in each of us.
With love, Alisa, Mike, and Greg
