With deep respect and loving memory, we announce the passing of Leopoldo “Polo” Jimenez, who departed this life on July 14, 2026, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 41. Born on February 10, 1985, in Houston, Leopoldo was a cherished son of this city, whose life was defined by steadfast kindness, resilience, and the many lives he touched along the way.
Throughout his journey, Leopoldo made Houston his home in every sense—embracing its vibrant community, spirit, and culture. Known affectionately as Polo to friends and family, he approached life with a warmth and sincerity that left a lasting impression. His presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew him, cultivating connections that grew deep and enduring.
Leopoldo’s life was marked by meaningful relationships and memorable moments. His compassion and generosity were inherent in every role he played, always striving to support and uplift those around him. Friends and acquaintances alike recall his unwavering support, his laughter that could light up a room, and his genuine concern for the well-being of others. While only some details of his accomplishments and milestones are recorded here, the legacy of Polo’s kindness and friendship is a testament to the impact he made in his years among us.
The community is invited to pay respects and honor Leopoldo’s life at several upcoming services. A private viewing for family will take place at SET FREE HOUSTON, 749 Uvalde Rd, Houston, TX 77015, on July 26, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Friends and members of the community are welcome to a public viewing that same day from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the same location, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 pm. The burial will be held at Brookside Cemetery, 13401 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039, where Leopoldo will be laid to rest.
Leopoldo Jimenez’s spirit remains brightly alive in the hearts of all who knew him. Though he has left us too soon, his legacy of kindness and the memories he leaves behind will be cherished always. May he rest in peace.
