It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Khi Marquise Broussard, who left us on May 31, 2026. Born in Houston, Texas, Khi’s brief life, marked by a loving and kind spirit, left an indelible impact on all who had the privilege to know him.
Khi was known for a personality that radiated warmth and care—loving to all, kind, and compassionate. Though his years were few, his presence was mighty, filling every room with an energy that was both gentle and uplifting. He was young and full of life, traits that endeared him deeply to his family and friends alike. His humor, kindness, and caring nature will be remembered and cherished by many.
Raised by his devoted parents, Kellie Johnson and Navodney Broussard, Khi was nurtured within a close-knit circle of family and friends who were always amazed by his spirit. He had completed his high school education, and while his journey was tragically cut short, the love and memories he leaves behind are timeless.
Visitation will be held on June 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Fifth Ward Missionary Baptist Church, located at 4300 Noble Street, Houston, Texas 77020. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place at 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the same location, where family, friends, and all who knew Khi are invited to come together, honor his memory, and share in the stories that brought joy to his life.
Khi Marquise Broussard is survived by his loving mother, Kellie Johnson; his father, Navodney Broussard; and many friends and family who will forever hold him in their hearts. He is greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to experience his kindness, laughter, and vibrant spirit.
As we say goodbye to Khi, we hold onto the precious moments he gave us and the beautiful legacy of love and care he leaves behind. His memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew him. Rest in peace, dear Khi — your light shines eternally in the hearts of those who loved you.
