Dorothy Louis Rainey

God Saw You Getting Tired

God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So he put His arms around you
And whispered “Come to me.”

With tearful eyes we watched you
As you slowly slipped away
And though we loved you dearly
We couldn’t make you stay.

Your golden heart stopped beating
Your tired hands put to rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best

To my husband James Young...Mama was a character... funny and always looking after her Family no matter what.
Her faith was strong and she lived her life with the hand of GOD on her and she was not ashamed of the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST. I will cherish my moments of singing to her, cooking for her and fussing with her when she wanted cookies.
Mama your memory will forever be in my heart, tears will fall but there is no more pain or suffering down here.
Take your rest...
I LOVE YOU MUCH
